About MPACF

In 2011, the Memphis Police Association founded the Memphis Police Association Charitable Foundation to serve Memphis and Shelby County and surrounding communities. The MPACF provides programs and initiatives in the Mid-South to support police officers and their families. In addition, it supports community partners with the goal of improving:

  • Community Engagement
  • Health Education
  • Youth Education

With a focus on these three areas, the foundation has been able to garner support for members and their families, as well as organizations that promote positive outcomes for Memphis youth.

  • We pay for expenses related to the retired K9's, since they were removed from the police department's budget.
  • We purchased horses for Mounted Patrol.
  • We are a major contributor to the Memphis Police Sports Federation and we also handle a large part of their fundraising.
  • We have provided, to date, 14 wishes for the Make a Wish Foundation.
  • We have a food pantry that helps citizens in need.
  • We have raised and/or given over a million dollars to officers in need including the families of our fallen officers.
