Hester Sykes Memorial Softball Tournament was originally an MPA event until the MPACF was created. This tournament was started to honor Officer Robert Hester and John Sykes who were killed in the line of duty only weeks apart. The Hester-Sykes Memorial Softball Tournament is held every fall. Law Enforcement, Fire Fighters, and Military come together and have a fun-filled weekend of softball, food, and fellowship.
